Francis Clarke census look up please

Hi all.

I'm having no luck what so ever trying to find Francis.
All I've found for him is the 1881 census which gives him & his family in London.
His line tells me that in 1881 he was 25, born Sheffield, York & was a comedian.
Trying to find him pre 1881 is proving to be anything but a joke!

The only other thing I found for him was his marriage in 1878 to Charlotte Wales, which was in London also. I've only just found the marriage registration, so I haven't got his fathers name yet.

Can you guys help me find him on the 1861/71 census' please?

1871 Newcastle
Charles Clarke   41 comedian London
Mary Ann 38 actress Windsor
frank 15 comedian  Sheffield
Charles 11 Rochester
Florence 8 Windsor

They moved around a bit didnt they but then they were a theatrical family.
