Can anyone do a look up for me in Arbroath records.

I'm having trouble finding anything on Alf except for his birth cerificate which have got from Scotlands People -born Alfred McGregor Stormont on 4th Sept 1902. Lived at 1 The Shore. Smiley

Not sure were the McGregor fits into the tree except that I did find a Viscount Stormont who married a McGregor who may have been the father of Alfs grandad as he was never listed as marrying Jane Ingram and she was a domestic servant.

I know that he lived in Arbroath most of his life with a brief spell in Birkenhead and that he died in Arbroath about 1989 ish.

One of his brothers was Jack Stormont whose first wife was Elizabeth Michie and second wife was Nora. They used to live in Brown St in Carnoustie, I think!!
