M.I. Wirral Cheshire
« on: Sunday 01 April 07 01:08 BST (UK) »

I know there are a lot of Kehoe Descendent's all over the world. I collect Kehoe & Keogh Surenames whenever i see them. I found this grave

St Albans in Liscard

Kehoe Joanna died October 28th 1866
Grandmother to the infant, Sarah Joanna died 11th February 1855
Daughter of W.H Haselen died October 2nd 1863 age 39.

I have never seen any M.I's. for wirral on the interenet(except mine  Wink)   Most are in book form which have to be looked up. So i thought it would be nice to have our own little Wirral M.I's Topic. :)So if you have any to add please do. Hopefully it will help descendent's living out of the county/country Wink

St Batholomews, Thurstaston

Samual Jackson died May 13th 1874 age 69

Thank you for the input sue,it is church cemetery transcriptions that might be useful for those living abroad.I would go to churchyards in various parts of wirral myself to collect M.I's. Unfortunately i don't drive and a lot of them are not on a bus root.In some parts of wirral there were lots of Church's.they didn't have graveyards though. The few that did, the remains were left but the gravestones removed elswere. I would imagine there are some churchyards in the brombourgh neston Ellesmere Port area, haven't got a clue where though.Dont think i ever been there

Celia, I should think without driving getting to of some those area's could be tricky  Roll Eyes

I have collected a number of MI's for St Bartholomews, Thurstaston, maybe too many to put on the thread so perhaps if I just put up the names others reseaching them could send me a PM for further details, in some cases I also have photographs of the inscriptions/headstones which I am very happy to send copies of to those with an interest in the names.

So here are the names I have for St Batholomews:

Minshall, Burkey, Cananagh, Roydon, Evans, Bennett, Tulloch, Jackson, Sherlock, Peers, Moores, Birkett, Hazlehurst, Rowland, Cross, Howard, Rutter, Nelson, Kelly and Bennett.
