I'm researching an Archibald Kennedy born as per FreeBMD Q2 1865  Longtown  10b 422 and baptised 13 MAY 1865 @ Stapleton, Cumberland

Archibald appears on the 1881 living at Meughsgate, Stapleton, Cumberland, RG11/5151 F/5 P/3 with mother Margaret b~1833 and brother Richard b~1872

Margaret is listed as being born in Stapleton and checking on IGI I have found a possible contender...(assuming it's not a re-marriage)

Margaret bapt 15 NOV 1835   Stapleton, Cumberland to a William & Tamar Kennedy.

Could SKS put me out of my misery - to resolve this please???

I'm glad you left it there Geoff - THANK YOU - allowed me to verify and connect the above into my direct rellie tree - rather than extended family - and given me a few more avenues to investigate....Many thanks for the lookup.

Any chance of the 1841 family info?...just to wrap it up totally please?  Grin
