Hi Laura
Thanks for your reply, I'm sure one of the 3 Elizabeth's is the right one, I was just seeing if there were any clues as to which of the 3 Elizabeth's is my ancestor, unfortunately the info I have on William and Elizabeth doesn't offer many clues, I've still not much more on this family than from my original post 2 years ago.
WILLIAM MEDOWS C1680 OAKHAM Leics. ELIZABETH SMITH C1680 OAKHAM Leics. William Medows married Elizabeth 1 Sept 1702 Oakham. They had 2 children: Elizabeth Meadows c1703 OAKHAM Mary Meadows C1707 OAKHAM

Hi Laura
If only this Thomas had been born later he would have fitted perfectly as a child of Thomas Palmer and Anne Womansley
THOMAS PALMER C1680 Seaton, Rutland. From 19C. Transc. Original PR lost. No B.T.s 1700-07 7 Jul 1702 Uppingham PALMER tho: WOMANSLY Anne Bride of Oakham.
ANNE WOMANSLEY C1680 Oakham, Rutland. Thomas and Anne had one son: William Palmer C1703 OAKHAM, no other children found so far.
It looks like Elizabeth is a dau of either Francis or Edward with only 2 daughters found so far for William Medows and Elizabeth Smith it would have been so much easier if they had had a son Edward or Francis, unfortunately my ancestors have never made it easy for me and I have noticed there seems to be a lot of gaps in the Oakham registers, my Arnsby family stop at John 1730 whose birth I've never found in Oatland Rutland/Leics area lots of Armsby's and Arnesby's but no John Arnsby 1730.
Thanks once again for your help it is much appreciated.
Julie
