Hi,
I'm not sure if you can help me as i do not have a death date, but I'm looking for Hannah Brooks (nee Pettinger). In 1851 she was living at 25 Dock St, Sculcoates, Kingston upon Hull, the house was still in the family in 1861 but Hannah was no longer there, so just wondering if you might have a record of her.

Grand lady Hannah Holloway Booth

Hi Tara,
I have a Hannah Brooks residing at 90 Portland Street, Kingston Upon Hull in 1858 as a testator. Not sure if this is your Hannah. The probate reads as follows
"The Will of William Brooks late of the borough of Kingston Upon Hull in the county of York gentleman deceased who died 27 May 1858 at Portland Street in the said borough was proved at York by the oath of Hannah Brooks of 90 Portland Street aforesaid widow the relict and the sole executrix."
Could be that Hannah moved after 1851 even though the house is still in the family. Hope this is of help

Hi Tara,
I read your post mentioning the Gault family. My great grandfather was George Joslen who was married to Mary Gault. I actually have a picture of my great great grandparents, the Gaults. I would love any information you may have on the family. I would be happy to send you a copy of the picture that my grandmother brought with her from England around 1910.
