The IGI shows Ellen to be the daughter of Charles & Caroline. In 1891 Chas and Caroline were living in Stanford, next door to the Bryant family including Frederick, although Ellen was a servant in Bedford.

Hello again, I am very interested in the info that you have going back a long time on the leggett/legate and many more variations of the name. I have only got as far back at the 1841 showing my ancestors living at Green End Shillington but they were born in Henlow, George in 1833-1835 and I believe his father George in 1797 or 1801, could you please help me with any info that you have, sorry to send you 2 messages in 1 day but everything that I try and search brings me back to you, thanks Mary
