Hi, I have looked and looked for these people all evening (Thomas & James Merrall). I just can't seem to find them (whatever combination of names I seem to put in  ). I'm afraid I've been beaten!!!
To summarise :
1871, 129 Churchgate Leicester, St Margaret rg10/3281, folio 45, page 11
Thomas Merrall, Head, mar 48, Flour seller( ), Leicester
Ann Merrall, Wife, 71, Leicester (nb I believe this is their mother!!!) LOL
James Merrall, Broth, 48, Leicester
Ann Merrall, sister, 28, Leicester
1891, 129 Churchgate Leicester, St Margaret rg12/2535 Page 10
Thomas Merrall, head, 68, Flour dealer(??), Leicester
James Merrall, broth, 67, Retired _____ Merchant, Leicester
Ann Rose, Wid, sister 48, Leicester
Annie Rose, neice, __?, Hosiery stocking mender, leicester
Thomas Rose, nephew, 13, scholar, leicester
Ernest Rose, nephew, 11, scholar, leicester
Thanks to Mike from Leicester, I now know that both Thomas & James Merrall died in 1894.
I wonder if anyone can find them in 1881 for me please???
