Names Interest - MANCHIPS of Bridgwater

Would like to hear from anyone who has a connection to the Manchips of Bridgwater.    My gg grandfather was John Manchip born in 1850 in Bridgwater and married Maria Arthur Jones (born in Glamorgan in 1849) in Bristol in 1874.  Maria had an illegitimate daughter, Agnes who went by the name of Manchip after the marriage however details of her father are not known.
