Grandma sent her mother this card which was most unlike her but her mother had given her an extra penny!

Posted 1907 as a birthday card to my Grandmother's mother. I wonder if the "present Post Office" is still there? David

Can anyone tell me where this is please? It could be The Industrial School, Newcastle upon Tyne, or nearby. Or it could be Ashby de la Zouch or somewhere in Leicestershire. Help if you can. Perhaps you recognise an old relative? David.

The photo of the crowd is definitely in Ashby de la Zouch. I suddenly made out some names on the stones and one is G Brown who was a Printer in Ashby. My Grandfather completed his apprenticeship there in about 1910. I wonder if anyone recognises relatives in the photo? David

Can anyone tell me how to get rid of the sort of lattice lines on the photo please? They don't appear on the original. Thanks, David
