Hi aliwoo,
As you don't know the birthplace and Bailey is a very common name, it is not very easy.
Do you know, when Mary died? As from 1970 onwards, the date of birth was put on the death registration, which would help pinpoint her birth in 1909/1910.
You could always apply to the GRO, for a Mary's birth cert, putting a reference check on with the fathers name of Thomas Bailey.
Is there any other info you can provide, i.e. names of witnesses on Mary's marriage cert, were her brothers (Joseph & Thomas) older or younger than her etc?
Sorry just questions at the moment!
Kath

Hi,
I notice from your previous posts that you was trying to find info on the burial of Mary Pearson (nee Bailey). There is a death reg in the district of Leeds for Mary Pearson in the qtr Oct-Dec 1968, Vol 2c, Page 932, aged 58 (birth year 1909/1910). Unfortunately birth dates were not put on the death certs until a year after this date.
When I get more time, I will try and look into this some more!
Regards, Kath
P.S. What date did Mary get married (helps to narrow down the date of birth)?

Hopefully the death certificate will be the right one
You say you have ordered certificates with a reference check and have been unsuccessful. Have you tried downloading the form, from GRO, which enables you ask for a search (up to 3 years)? If I remember correctly it costs £11.
If the age was right on the marriage cert, you know Mary was born between November 1909 and November 1910.
Have had a quick look for Francis George Lowe, but can't see one yet, that would have a connection
Regards, Kath

Hi aliwoo,
I am pleased for you, thanks for letting me know
Have you thought about maybe checking the electoral register for 36 Poplar Road, Skellow, Doncaster for around 1933, you never know Mary's mother could still be alive and living there?
Regards, Kath
