Hi,
The Woodwards of Laughton are not part of my family but I'm trying to do a sort of return favour for rootschat as so many people have helped me.
I have ancestry.com's parish records on CD for Bucks and it has the following refs:

Mar: Wlm. Woodward & Justina Parrot, on  05 Dec 1763. Witnes, Robert Lane, Robert Stimpson. at Fenny Stratford

Mar: Home(s) (see Horne), Woodward & Frances Wheatley mar.  08 Jan 1783 Newton Longville

Mar: Woodward, James, of Loughton, & Alice Capel mar.  12 Oct 1800 at Newton Longville

Baptism:  21 Apr 1805 George Edwards, Son of James & Alice Woodward.

(The LDS also has a bapt entry for William Woodward  18 Nov 1804, Loughton, Bucks.  Parents James & Alice)

Bur: Horne Woodward bur.  25 Mar 1829 at Newton Longville

Not sure if any of this is any good to you but if you can give me a clearer idea of names/places I may be able to help.  There are Woodwards all over Bucks some back to 1533 musters, and a few Capels.

Regards
Steph

 Smiley Hi Steph
Thanks for the information on the Woodwards. Yes, these are the ones I am looking for. The earliest Woodward I have is James Woodward who married a Mary Smith at Shenley, Bucks in 1767. They had children, JAMES b 1776, Katherine b 1779 and Ann b 1781. These are ones that I know of. If you can find any info on these or any other WOODWARDS in Loughton or surrounding area, Shenley etc, it would be much appreciated by myself and my wife.

I look forward to hearing from you soon.

 :)Hi
Another message for Steph
Forgot to mention marriage of John CAPEL to Mary Bottle . They were the parents of Alice CAPEL who married James in 1800 at Loughton. Anything on them would be good to. Many thanks again.
