If anyone has access to Boyd's Marriage Index, would they kindly look up for me please any possible marriages of a John and Elizabeth GROVES. They were the parents of John Groves (born c1804) in Benwick
Any other information regarding John's baptism etc. would be appreciated.
I would also be grateful for any information of any GROVES marriages or baptism's in Emneth.

Boyd's has only one John Groves marrying Elizabeth in Cambridgeshire - Elizabeth Day at Bourn, but this is in 1756. There are no John Groves marriages at all in Huntingdonshire - Benwick was close to the border.
The Cambridgeshire baptism index which you will find here:

shows some Groves baptisms, including John son of John and Elizabeth in 1804.

That marriage in 1800 in Gt Stukeley is on the BVRI and is accurate. It's also on Hunts Marriage Index both otp. There were no Groves baptisms in Gt Stukeley so it is possible that the Caldecote Cambs baptism you found could be them - timing is right, just the place seems adrift! And how you would ever prove it is another matter again.

Thank you for all your replies. 
The 1800 marriage in Gt.Stukeley looks likely but, as David said, difficult to prove.
I am also interested in the parents of an Elizabeth GROVES born in Emneth in about 1814, as I am sure there is a connection.

Hello Welsh Lady
I originally posted my request on the Norfolk board. On it I mentioned a possible sibling to my John which was a Mary Groves, born 1801 in Caldecote. This was from the CFHS free database and I presumed she was from the same parents.
