1851 census look-up

If anyone has access to the above census I would really appreciate it if you could find the following man so I can continue my research.

Narcisse Brindamour born app. 1832

I found him on the 1881, 1901 and 1911 census all in Canada but family folklore says the family orginated from the States so I would like to find him with his parents.

I didn't see anything that seemed to match in the 1850 through 1870 US Censuses.

I guess that means I need to be searching for him on the Canadian census, 1851 & 1861 if I hope to find him with his family.
