I wonder if anybody out there is researching or related to the JAMES family of Yarcombe, Devon.

William JAMES (1787 - 1841), born in Dowlish Wake, Somerset, married Mary CORAM about 1810 to 1815.  Their first-born, Martha, was born in Kingstone, Somerset,  in about 1815.  After that they raised a large family, principally in Yarcombe, Devon.  Their family included: 

Abraham Rooke James, born and baptized in Yarcombe, Devon, in 1826;  Abraham was a merchant in metals and a metals broker, living in Middlesex and Surrey;  in 1851, in Newport, he married Caroline (Powell?);  they had issue;  Abraham retired to Bothenhampton, Dorset, where he died in 1905  -  there is a monument inscription for him there.
