william wale and family... i'm confused

hello kind clever folks Smiley

would anyone like to shed some light on this family for me
my ancestor William Gray married Elizabeth Wale .., they lived in st aldates when Harriet was born, i have her birth cert.


in 1841 there is a William wale , Ann is his spouse , he is a publican at Grand Pont
the only other William wale and Ann and the same children in 1851 is a Tailor Huh
In that census Ann is much younger than Will ??

anyone any bright ideas ..maybe i'm being dim  Roll Eyes

What makes it confusing too is that Folly Bridge in St Aldates was the boundary line tween oxon and Berks so i'm not sure which county they born
