Hi, Looking for parents of Mary Ann PADDISON b1795-1796 South Somercoates Lincolnshire. (hard to find ??)
Died 1875 Saltfleetby St Peter Lincolnshire.
Married William DRING b1789 South Cockington Lincolnshire.
They had 8 Children.

There are 4 'Mary Ann PADDISONs' listed on there! Wink

My Favourite is:

Mary Ann PADDISON

Christened: 09 APR 1797, South Somercotes, Lincoln.

Parents: Robert & Ann PADDISON

Hello Thank you for that.....I guess I was rather naughty & didn't check the IGI...it was that I haven't researched this family for a while & it just came to my mind I actually thought it wasn't on the IGI. But the marriage of Robert to ANN Huh? I remember now i can't find anything going back on Ann's family.

Could you help with this at all.

I have the BVRI 2nd edition Discs, which I have been trying to look at for Your Paddisons! (but for some reason I can't view the discs!)

I am waiting for an Answer from the LDS Distribution Support bods to find out How I can rectify the error? Huh

That's one of those made up submissions that gets the IGI a bad name ... particularly so since Robert and Ann had children bap at Alvingham from 1790.

There is no convenient marriage on BIVRI2; the closest is 1798 in Lincoln.

Robert Paddison mar Ann SCARGIL, 1790 Alvingham (Louthesk deanery marriages)

Earlier...William Scargall mar Eleanor Stonebanks 1765 Alvingham (Ann Scargall bap 1772 Alvingham - ref IGI) but beware, Scargalls, all spellings, are common as muck within 5 miles of Alvingham

GUESS WHAT, I have found another PADDISON Ann Married to Thomas CHAPMAN b1729 Nth Kelsey Lincolnshire.
Wondering if perhaps it is another Paddison Family.
I have tried this one before but no luck. They Married 16th May 1765.

Received with thanks I did'nt have alot of that iformation so many thanks.... I haven't as yet looked through all properly, .could I ask how you are related to the DRINGS. Robert DRING b1862 Saltfleetby is married to a Blood Relation of mine Elizabeth BROMFIELD b1864 Saltfleetby.
I haven't found any children for them yet.
I am also in contact with a Gutterson contact.

Hi Tinkerbell,
My mother was a Dring of the Long Sutton clan.
As I had difficulty sorting out my clan I researched all Drings of Lincolnshire.
Loads of info and many trees sorted out and checked with PR's etc, available for anyone who wants.
