Mary Jane Vile was born in 1866 in Portland Dorset. I believe that her parents were a Stephen and Martha Vile but her father's name is a bit of conjecture at this time.
I would be most grateful if someone could check out whether this family is in the 1871 census. In 1881 Martha has remarried and the family is under the name of Rivett and living in Oxford.
It is also possible that the family has moved to Bath as Mary Janes' sister was born there in Sep 1871.

1861 has Stephen Viles birthplace down as Shepton Beachamp(Which according to Genuki is 4 miles from Ilminster) and his wife Hesters birthplace is Dunkerton Somerset .Looking back in 1851 thats what i think it says.
