Letter of Marque question
«

Does anyone know where I could find the letter of marque for Captain James Wenham of Hastings. Granted him in the 1790s I think. "Hastings Saga" my MAN Marshall mentions it.
Thanks, Laverdiere

Hi Laverdiere
There are some registers of "letters of Marque" in class ADM 7 (Admiralty: Miscellanea) at the National Archives.
