Does anyone have knowledge of Gabriel Clingan born about 1655 at Dunjop, Stewartry. he and his family appear to have resided Tongland.
Known children are:

Janet Clingan born 10/3/1702
Margaret Clingan born 30/3/1704
James Clingan born 3/6/1705
George Clingan born 20/2/1708

There is possibly another son John Clingan born 1703 and married to Jannet Todd.

Trying to establish a link between them.
