obituary look-up please

I am trying to find information on Cornelia(Hooker) Young.The only bit of info I have been able to obtain is a listing in 1830 Pigots trade directory- page 21... Lists her as owner/keeper of Cross Keys on George St.  .Under tavern and public houses. Im hoping that there is an obituary that lists her. She was married to Wiliam Young- St. Mary Luton.. thank-you for your time

Do you have her rough date of death Cindy?

And I believe you also have her baptism, marriage, and census details to save people checking those for you.

A while ago on another board you asked the same question and Cathy, who also frequents this board, advised you :
"If your person was rich or famous there may just be an obit. They are are rare though in the 19th C.

You might ask here: archive@bedscc.gov.uk "

Further to your PM I repeat the following - extracted from my post on your thread at http://www.ancestry.co.uk/search/rectype/vital/freebmd/bmd.aspx

Cornealia  Hooker baptised 29 July 1784 at Luton St Mary, dau of Richard and Mary Hooker (per IGI - extracted from parish register)
Cornelia Hooker married William Young on 26 April 1803 at Luton (IGI extracted entry)

In addition:

A William Young age 46 was buried at Luton St Mary on 2 April 1824

There is also the following census info:

Matthew Young Son Marr 32 Blocker b Luton
Elizabeth Young Son's wife 35 Bonnet sewer b Luton
Matthew Young son 6 Scholar b Luton
William Young son 4 Scholar b Luton

(William Young, son of William & Cornelia Young was christened on 25 Oct 1807 at Luton, which is consistent with the William in 1841 where ages over 15 were rounded down to the nearest 5 below. Matthew Young son of William & Cornelia Young was christened on 8 Oct 1819 at Luton. Both are IGI extracted entries)

Cornelia died in the Apr-May-June quarter 1860 in Luton registration district - doesn't show on FreeBMD but GRO index is searchable at http://www.ancestry.co.uk/search/rectype/vital/freebmd/bmd.aspx
