I am looking for a Joseph Marriott who would have been aged about 16 or 17 in 1861. In the 1881 census he gives his birth place as Clay Cross.

Thanks for working so hard, but none of this is my family. My Marriott's came from North Wingfield/Clay Cross area of Derbyshire. I've traced them back to about 1700 and they stayed in the same area. I just wanted a look-up for 1861 to confirm some details.
