Albert William Smith, A True Hero

Hi,
Can any one help me find Martha Turner, who was born about 1791 at Staunton-Upon-Arrow on the 1871 Census for the Kington Region of the county. She proberbly would be listed as a widow, and with relatives with the surname Tippin, Tippins, or Tippings.
Thanks, Tippin

Hi Patrish,
I am unshure if this is my Martha, but you never know! Do you know if she is on the 1861 Census, as I already have my Martha with her nephew and niece.
Thanks for having a look, Tippin

I will take a look for Susan b 1819 with a mother Martha..

Hi Patrish,
I do have Martha on the 1841, as well as the 1851. Unfortunatly I have yet to find her death certificate so I am unshure if she died before 1871. I know that there is one in 1863, so I will proberbly try that one first before looking again as I have no record of a Susan Turner.
Thanks for all the help, Tippin

Hi Tippin,
You can eliminate that Martha Turner that I found, have traced Susan 52 back 61.51 and in 1841 she appears with a Martha Turner 40. she is 20 , so she's a different one.
So it would look as if your Martha was deceased by 1871.

Thanks for all the help. At least this has concluded that Martha had died by 1871, pointing to the death registerd in 1863.
Thanks so much, Tippin

You could get a copy of her death certificate from Kington Register Office, Old Court House, Market Hall St, Kington, Herefordshire HR5 3DP Details on that might confirm her as one of yours !
