Hello All I am looking for Robert Barr McCully born 1842 in either Sunderland or Scotland, the Spelling of McCully is suspect. Sorry this all I have.

Apologies-I have only just realised you were asking for him in 1851/61-but at least the 1901 gave a little more info about him.
This may be him -not using the middle name, but working in Glass
1851 29 Johnson St Bishopwearmouth Sunderland James McCulley Head 49 Glass Maker Scotland Ann wife 49 Durham Elizabeth daughter 15 Servant Staffs Smithwick Robert son 9 Scotland HO207 2395 320 36
and in `61` his mother has only aged a year???
1861 Glass St Bishopwearmouth Sunderland Ann Mc Cully Head Widow 50 Durham Bishopwearmouth Abraham son 30 Crown Glass Maker Scotland Robert son 19 Sheet Glass maker Scotland RG9 3769 25 44

I've looked in Scotland England and Wales under several variations -looked for children, but have come up with nothing that "fits"
