Looking for any information on the GATER family originally from Cheshunt, Hertfordshire.  My direct line is from Robert GATER (b. c. 1765), William Adam GATER (b. 1801), Charles GATER (b. 1838), Ada Maria GATER (b. 1864).

Thanks for your offer of help.  At this stage I am just looking for descendants and family members to compare trees.  I have found that all GATER's in Cheshunt appear to be related one way or another.
I'm also trying to find my way around this website. Undecided
