Hi Mehjer,
I have just found out that I have Kliskey connections so have just started researching that branch.
The name de Rouffigniac comes from Grace de Rouffigniac (1835 - 1905) who married a John Baker Kliskey (born 1836). The KLISKEY people mostly come from the Newlyn, Paul area of Cornwall. Apparently there were not many of them. I found a lot of information on Ancestry.co.uk Message Board. This lady has a lot of KLISKEY information so go take a look at this website:

I read that the first KLISKEY was in fact Johan Kewalensky b.circa 1761 in Conisberg (now Kalingrad) Russia. He served on board HMS Brig Boxer and this ship was based in Mounts Bay, Penzance during the Napoleonic War. This was where he met and married Mary BAKER from Newlyn and died 1818. The name has changed over the years to KLISKEY.
The BAKER name was used a a second name for many of his descendants.
I have just been sent some photographs and information (from South Africa) of my KLISKEY/NICHOLAS ancestors, who emigrated from Newlyn Cornwall to South Africa. Quite exciting.
Have also been in contact, overnight, with others in the UK and America who were pleasantly surprised with the photos and information I sent them.
If anyone is following this line, I would be happy to give you information:
James NICHOLAS (born 12 Nov 1872 Newlyn, Cornwall) married Elizabeth Hannah KLISKEY (born 1852/3 Newlyn, Cornwall) :
NICHOLAS children (all born Newlyn):
Edmund b. 12 Nov 1872 (my gr-grandfather)
Hannah b. 1875
Mary J b. 1879
Elizabeth Hannah b. 1882
James Baker b. 1885
Agatha b. 1888
Susan b. 1889
Edmund NICHOLAS (b.1872) married Ella Mary WILLIAMS (born Penzance 1876) married Sep 1892.
NICHOLAS children (all born Cornwall):
Stanley
Edgar
Thomas
Wilfred
Elsie
Dorothy b. 1893
Edmund b. 1895
Martha Maud b. 1898 (My grandmother)
No birth dates for some of them yet, I am still searching.
Most of the above emigrated to South Africa and that's why many people couldn't find them.

Good news !!! I have just received the Kliskey Family Tree from South Africa and I have ALL the details you need.
It's all handwritten so I have to copy it in my handwriting from the computer and then type it up.
John Trevorrow Kliskey born 20/8/1900
married Violet Rose CARLISLE on 30/4/1928 (very hard to read)
They had these children
Eileen Rose
Vera Joyce
Philip Robert
David John
I also have Philip Robert TREVORROW's 4 children.
So give me some time to write it all out and then type it up for you.

I also have the New Zealand KLISKEY family tree and the USA one, in case anyone is interested.
Because they were hand-written a long time ago, I can't print them so have to copy everything by hand before typing it.
They are worth framing !!!
