SWEDEN: Olaff Ferdinand Lindell

Hi everyone,

During the course of my research I have found that my GGG grandmother married the above gentleman in 1881 in Sunderland. Her name was Margaret Dixon ( widow ) and she was born in Whitby, North Yorkshire.

They are first sighted on the 1891 census, RG12/4138/65/37 living in Sunderland. His place of birth is simply Sweden.

I can find no record of him prior to 1881 and his marriage. Will there be a record of his immigration into the country ?

I would love to find something out but don't know where to begin.
