The Adams Family
« on: Friday 13 April 07 19:40 BST (UK) »

Looking for the births/baptisms of Charles and Percy Adams probably in the Towcester area about 1910.[There was also a third son]Also info. about their parents[I have no christian names ]who lived in Towcester. This family fostered a Margery Ward from Barnados between 1918-1924.Possible link with a Blanchard family.Mrs Adams lived in the alms houses in the main high street in Towcester towards the end of her life.[Do they still exist?
Hoping someone can help.
Thanks, Cyndy

Hi Sandy, Thankyou very much for putting me in touch with Mary Taylor and her Towcester web-site. I`ve been in touch and she has sent me two photos of the street, Vernon Terrace, Vernon Road that I was looking for. She was also interested in my memories of the Alms Houses that have long since gone. She may be able to give me more information on M my mothers foster parents.
Cheers, Cyndy
