Hi,
I came across this link for Cobden Street, Ancoats, Manchster. It has a nice picture for you.
http://www.manchester.gov.uk/libraries/lsuimage/streetview/cobden.htm
there is a Bradford street in the area, but I can't find a reference to the Church, perhaps someone else can shed some light for you.

Hi Fran'
Ancoats Area is on the boarder of Miles Platting, & Bradford. The North side of Manchester
St Philips Church was actually on Ridgeway Street, and the corner of Halmore Street , DaviesStreet was across from St.Philips Church.
The streets around that area. Bradford Rd run parallel with Ridgeway Street. Butler Street met Bradford Road, Sandal Street.
There was the Bradford Road Gas works, and the new Manchester City Stadium is built facing Philip's Park Cemetery on Hulme Hall Lane. probably where your ancestors could be buried, Philip's Park Cemetery opened in 1870s, Ancoats Hospital was on Mill Street. which continued on to Bradford Road
In the 1850/60 There were 9 beerhouses on Ridgeway Street. and on Braford Road began to be built up in the 1840s and 1850s. There is a book called The Old pubs of Ancoats, by Neil Richardson which you can buy from Manchester Family History Society.
This site www.haveyoursay.freeserve.co.uk is about Ancoats. & Miles Platting.
Regards. Marj
