Would anyone have a photo of Turkey cottages in Croft, my mother was born there in 1924 and I would love to know what they looked like. Croft was a small village near Warrington, mainly a farming area. Thank you for reading this Chris.

Hi You don't give a location, but if you are able to visit a main library, with a reference room. They may have some donated photo's which most libraries have.Or there could be some books that contain photo's of the village.Or have a look on this website go to warrington council find a library.then contact them in some form

Hi Celia, It's a long way from Australia to Padgate library but thenks for the information I will try to contact them via e.mail. The cottages are no longer there and the u3 group in Croft had no photo's and the Plough Inn also had lots of photo's but none of the cottages. :)Chris.

Hi Chris don't expect a reply straight away, you might wait a few weeks. Hopfully not though . They probably get a lot of emails. They are librarians and i don't think it is part of their job to do research, but some librarians if they are not busy will help if they can. So be patient,i will interested to know how you fare
