Hi John
My grandfather, George Cullen, lived at The Grove, Bedford I don't recall the number.
He died November 1949. I would be very grateful for a lookup.

Hello RBC,   

Sorry he is not listed.  This is a 1949/50 edition of Kellys & I think published in Nov 1949 as there is line on last page with 54-11.49 next to publisher's name & address. You say he died in Nov 1949 so he ought to be there, not sure of the source of information. 

The only Cullen is a Wm. Cullen Jn. at 31 Beaconsfield St.

I also now have 1936 Kelly's Dir of Bedfordshire - but he's not listed in that either.

Have you his death certificate - that might show his addresss.

Thank you very much. I did post you a reply on Sunday, goodness knows where it went. (perhaps I had lost my connection).
I am sorry, I realised that his death was registered in Surrey. He died 4.11.49.
I don't have the death cert but I do have the Telegram informing us of his death. Perhaps the house had changed hands before then.
