Is anyone researching this couple, William was born 1805 in Whitchurch, first wife Mary Hodder.
2nd wife Priscilla Ann White, daughter of Thomas White and Rebecca Cross. Priscilla was baptised in Wootton Fitzpaine, having three sisters; Diana, Elizabeth and Fanny.
William and Priscilla were still alive for census 1881 in Lyme.
I am trying to find out what happened to Priscilla's parents, more precisely where her father was born and if he remarried.

There is a Thomas White, farmer, in the 1841 census living Wootton Fitzpaine age 50 - wife Elizabeth (30 years younger) and new born unnamed babe.
Born in county. Do you know when Rebecca died?

Hi Trish, The Thomas in Wootton in 1841 is my Thomas, he married Elizabeth Way in 1840 WF, but he was previously married according to Vitals.
There are two marriages that could be the first one.
Rebecca Cross in 1808 and Elizabeth Powell in 1821. Possibly he was even married three times.
Have been unable to find Rebecca anywhere, only have this lead on Priscilla to go on. Her sister Fanny was baptised in 1817 so she must have died after that.
The hunt goes on

If the baptism of Fanny is on the IGI, could be worth getting the film from the LDS as the burial may be on the same film.
