Hi John
The only Wiliam Robinson G CUMMING that I can find anywhere was born in 1892 not 1863.
Perhaps this is a son of your William.
A check of the 1901 Census shows a William born 1892 son of William born 1861 and Margaret born 1870. They are living in South Shields Durham. Other children include Archibold aged 3, John aged 18, Margaret aged 9mths, Septimus aged 6, and Thomas aged 11. William seniors birthplace is given as South Shields and his occupation was Steamboar Engineer.

Hi John,
Sorry that's my mistake, on ancestry he's indexed as Wm. Robinson Godory Cumming -but I read the actual entry as Gordon. Tried to attach image but it won't load for some reason. pm me your email address and I'll send it to you.
He's also stated to be born Denmark, Lanchester but it's clearly Durham!
