Hello Rev mother - could you see if there is anything for Andrew Hamilton in St Quivox.  He died 1841-45 and would have been in his 20s.  Thanks.

Hi
I've looked through all my lists, as they are adjoining parishes, but sorry, nothing for Andrew Hamilton.
Good hunting

Hi  could you please see if there's anything listed for James Saunders (or Sanders) who died 18 Dec 1860.  He was buried in Wallacetown Churchyard, I'm particularly interested to know if anyone was buried with him.

Thanks.

Hi
The only Sanders in Wallacetown cemetery inscription book says:
Erected by Jane Brown in memory of Hugh Sanders her husband late farmer in Content d 22 Mar 1870 aged 45; also of their son Hugh d 5 aug 1870 aged 19.
I can see that this is not directly what you were hoping for, but I hope it may help

Thanks for that  Smiley

I have a lot of Mansons:

Helen Manson, spouse Robert Latta, b1808 d1890

David Manson b 1810 d between 1881 and 1891

William Manson b 1813 d after 1891

George Manson b1817 d 1903 and his wife Janet Currie b1826 d1895

Janet Manson b 1856 d1886

William Manson b 1861 d after 1901 and his spouse Jessie Bain b c1864 d after 1901

David Manson b 1869 d after 1881

John Manson b1826 d after 1871

James Manson b c1830 d after 1871

I will be particulary pleased to find the last 3, as there is no trace of them in the later census and I can't find their deaths indexed

Thank you so much for your help

Thanks very much for the kind offer. Can you look in the Coylton MIs for a James Wilson who married in Coylton in 1759 to a Jean Dounie (or Downie)? I think Jane's parents were William Dounie and Margaret Fulton.

Many many thanks
