Hello McCann
I've looked through the books, and I'm sorry to say I can't find any of them. Some of the dates are just too far back for these little books, or the stones are missing now - presuming there was one to begin with.
sorry I can't help.
Looks an interesting tree. Smiley

Dear revmother, Hello.  Looking for names with a familial connection - KENNEDY / BARCLAY / STEVENSON /STRACHAN timeframe 1860s-->

Briefly I have a William KENNEDY born 1842 Irvine died 12 Mar 1922 down a mine Redburn No. 2 Pit, Eglinton Iron Co, Scotland from falling stones after a fire damp explosion aged 30 years.  He had married Jessie Kor STEVENSON daughter of James STEVENSON and Jane(t) STRACHAN born 1843 Irvine died 1922 Stirling, Falkirk.  The couple had 4 children: James KENNEDY born 1865 St.Quivox, Jane Aird KENNEDY born 1867 Tarbolton, Jessie KENNEDY born 1870 Elba St, St.Quivox (I think this one died young), next child also called Jessie KENNEDY born 1872 Irvine.

Thanks when you have the time.  Appreciated.

Alison

Hi Alison
I've had a look through and I can't see your relatives. Stevenson and Kennedy are common names in this area, but none appeared to be yours. Sorry

Dear revmother2, Thank you for taking the time to look.  I can imagine that STEVENSON and KENNEDY are common surnames too.

Keep up the good work!

Alison.

Do you have any information on the LATTA families of Ayrshire?  Any tombstone information?

I would be grateful if you could have a look for any Harpers and Greens in St Quivox or Wallacetown.  Specifically David Harper who died sometime  between 1844 and 1851, and his wife Sarah Green who died in Dalry in 1870, but could likely have been buried with her husband.  Also Sarah's parents, John Green and Sarah Ball, who would have died before 1855?

Thank you

Hi Revmother,
I was wondering if you could check the Coylton burials.
Specifically I'm searching for a Helen Richmond whom died about 1838.
Her maiden name was Munn.
Also I'm searching for any Munn, McMunn,or William Micklemun whom all died at Coylton but maybe too early for records.
Hope this is not too trouble.
Kind regards,
                    Graeme
