As a child my mother lived in Australia, but I very much regret I never really showed any interest in her childhood, and now it is too late.    However her brother is still alive and he told me where they lived and I was able to find photos of the area on the following site.    They are old photos some going back to 1930s when my mother would have been there.  I found the site fascinating - even deciding I could pick out my mother in a photo of the local school girls!!!
