Hi, is anyone researching the Fosters of Tring? Would be glad of some links and leads if poss. have got stuck  in 1792, where William marries Mary, son John-would like to go further if poss.Also has any bright local student done any research into the silk factory?

Hi Marton,

I am too researching a Foster family from Tring but have very limited information on them. 

My Frances Foster was born in Tring, Hertfordshire and christened on the 4th September 1774.  Her parents were John and Sarah Foster.

Frances married a John GOODSON on the 23rd June 1794 in Tring, Hertfordshire.

Please let me know if there is a possible connection with your Foster's.
