Hi,
I am looking for information please about the parents and siblings of Clystie Eliza Rossiter born in the March Qtr of 1870 in the Bedminster Registration District.
Her father was Charles born circa 1841 and her mother Eliza was born circa 1847 but I don't know where as I got the birth dates from a US Census which helpfully gives their birthplace as "England"!!
She has a brother Charles born December Qtr of 1867 in the Clifton Registration Districtand a sister Selina born in the March Qtr of 1864 also in the Clifton RD. She also had a sister Ada but I don't have dates for her and it could well be that there are other children I am unaware of.
I'm ultimately trying to link Charles the father with his ancestors hence the earlier census requests once I find out where he was born and to whom he was married.
Any information would be greatly appreciated.TIA.

I found this on the IGI but can't find them on the 1871
CHARLEY ROSSITER
Christening: 07 MAY 1868 Temple Bristol Gloucester
Father: CHARLES ROSSITER Mother: ELIZA
There is an 1866 marriage on freebmd in the Clifton district
Charles Rossiter to either Eliza Chamberlain or Ellen K S Howell
June qtr 1866 Clifton 6A 197
I wonder whether Ada & Selina were Charles children by a first marriage and Eliza is his second wife
Ada is 20 in 1881 so Eliza would only have been 14 when she was born

Thanks for that. Though I can find an entry on the Latter Day Saints site ( Familysearch.org) hor the baptism of Charles Thomas I can't find a marriage for Charles and Malinda.
I suppose it must be in the Clifton or Bristol districts. I tried FreeBMD hoping to get Malinda's maiden name and marriage date but no such luck. Can you see one anywhere please?

I am sorry so far I have not found the marriage for Charles and Malinda. I notice on free BMD that the marriage for a Charles Rossiter appears to be the only one listed when clicking on the page number, I wonder, may be worth looking into?

The GRO ref for the birth of Charles Thomas Rossiter is Sept qtr 1845 Clifton X1 258
A copy of his birth cert will show his mothers name and maiden name
