Hi

I'm looking for more information,pictures of Captain Harold Augustus Hodges who was killed in WW1 on the 24-03-1918. I have the CWGC information and Regimental Museum. If anyone can add to this information I would be very grateful. Information is being collected with the intention of writing a reference,Condolence book on all the Soldiers who died in The Great War with the surname HODGES (UK only)

You are asking for a Monmouthsire look-up but it doesn't look as if he was from Monmouth*:
Son of William A. Hodges, J.P. and Augusta Hodges, of "Oaklands," Bromley Park, Kent.

I think I can see him on the 1891 census - would you like the details?  Smiley

*He was born in Mansfield Woodhouse Nottinghamshire
