Can anyone help to trace the following family in the 1851/61 census in Kintbury, Berks?
In 1841 the family were in Kintbury as follows:
John Ballard age 50 Ag Lab
Mary Ballard age 25
Hannah Ballard age 25
Elizabeth Ballard age 5
Ann Ballard age 1
John Ballard was born in Collingbourne Kingston, Wilts, married Elizabeth Simmons who died in 1825, and he died in 1854 in Kintbury. So he should be on the 1851 census. I'd like to see if any of the rest of the family were ther in 1861.
John and Elizabeth also had 3 sons, George Ballard b c1813 Kintbury
Joseph Ballard b c1818
John Ballard b after 1821
I know where Joseph went, but wonder if George and John were still in Kintbury?
