I was trying to find out if the child lived or died,However 99% of me thinks it did die,But it's just one of them niggly questions that you come up against,

I think i will lay this one to rest,

I just thought you gave a professional answer and seemed to understand the subject, which is understandable given your profession even if you hadn't seen it in practice.  As you say, you tend to come across the cases where things have gone wrong. 

Brian, I would think the baby was stillborn and as a previous thread has been discussing, stillborn babies before 1927 weren't registered.
