Just been updating my records and found a blank for my gt gt grandfather for the 1851 census. Some kind folk found the other census entries for me from my previous posting. Can anyone please find William Pool(e) in Montford in 1851 for me. He would be about 43, and a widower as I have his wife dying in 1848. He would be left to bring up a young family including my gt grandfather Edward b.1846/7. Many thanks Maggie.

Theres actually 2 Williams right next to each other on the page - the 1st being a Lodger with the previous Household, and the 2nd this chap, Head .... age has been scrawled over, but it looks like 65 ? Quite possibly 45 ....

Thanks Newfy- the names are correct, but William could not be 65 ,but it can be tricky reading ages under the markings sometimes, should be 45/46 but the birthplace is correct. Were there any age and birthplace details for the William lodging next door ? -as William's father was also called William-though he would be a good age to survive till 1851! Maggie
