Catherine Riley born c1832 Whitehill Fermanagh searching for any small bit of info on Catherine my gggrandmother.Catherine entered workhouse Ballycassidy Laragh in Oct 1847 left 1849 came to Australia on the Daidum.

Going through older posts and noticed this one had not received a reply.

Ballycassidy is a townland, as is Laragh, both in the civil parish of Trory, in the Poor Law Union of Enniskillen. The local workhouse would have been in Enniskillen itself.

Glad that you saw the message I posted earlier and the information was of interest. Used to spend lots of time at Laragh, walking to Ballycassidy, Trory Parish Church, etc. and it's a lovely area.
