I am searching for the parents of Benjamin Sansom, born at Tempsford or area ~1772; married Sarah Hills at Tempsford in 1794; and died in Tempsford in 1845 at age of 72.

That he was married in Tempsford doesn't necessarily mean that he was born in the vicinity of Tempsford. As just about all baptisms pre 1812 in Beds have been extracted onto the IGI and as he doesn't show, the implication is that he was either from out of county, or he wasn't baptised for whatever reason, usually non-conformity.

There were no Sansom burials in the 1700s in Tempsford so it doesn't seem as though his parents were from Tempsford.

Interestingly there was also a Benjamin Sansom married in 1725 in Hatley St George, Cambs, only 6 miles from Tempsford, but I can't trace any children. This might be a parish worth pursuing

The 1841 census in Tempsford gives his birthplace as Not in county, so at least you know Beds is not the place to search

The place to start must be Tempsford parish register, if you haven't already checked it out, for the marriage entry. Is a parish of residence other than Tempsford  given for Benjamin? Similarly can you get any clue from the witnesses?

There is no baptism of a Benjamin Sansom at Temspford for the 1770's, nor is there any further information about him on his marriage to Sarah Hills on 17 Aug 1794.

Do you have the baptisms at Temsford of the children of Benj & Sarah Sansom between 1794 & 1812 ?.  I have 7; William, Hannah, Sarah, Mary, Joseph, Eliz & Augusta.   OK there could be more, as there is a note in the PR that states from 1808 to 1812 the register was illegible & only a few entries could be transcribed.   

As there is a burial entry for Louisa Sansom, daughter of Benj & Sarah on Mar ?? 1812.

There is this christening on the IGI,

Benjamin SANSOM 
Christening:  24 SEP 1769   Olney, Buckingham 
Father:  John SANSOM   
Mother:  Mary     
 
I think Olney is about 17 miles east of Tempsford, maybe a possile  Undecided
