They don't go as forward as 1860, Robbo, so I need the link births. I'm going to PM Paul, our resident man with a bike. he goes to the records office quite often and could probably look up: Jane Evans , b.c. 1859-60, Corwen, Merionethshire - father John Evans (tailor) Robert Morris Roberts, b.c 1862, Llangollen - father Robert Roberts - mother Catherine This put up for Paul to see! Corwen/Llangollen births 1837-1880 not on North Wales BMD yet  If we can get over this hump, we can get back further in my parish records - hopefully! Gadget

Sorry Gadget, couldn't see a baptism for Robert Morris Roberts or any children of
Robert & Catherine in Llangollen. Might they be chapel?
I found a Jane April 29 1860 D/O Robert and Catherine in Rhoymedre.

There is a GRO Ref for a William Owen Roberts in the Wrexham District,in the January Quarter of 1887.The Ref is Volume 11b Page 244.

It says 9 Park Road Cefn Bychan.Cefn Bychan is more commonly known as Newbridge,although not a literal translation.If I look out of my window,I can see Newbridge,it being an adjoining village to Cefn Mawr.

daughter in law to William Owen Roberts she confirms Williams dad was called Morris, also that John brother to William was killed in WW1.
she remembers a Ted Roberts now this were its gets confused, she can't remember if Ted was Morris son
