On the other side of the world we just saw a 1997 Antiques Roadshow - so should pick this one up in about 10 years  Sad

Our Free to air TV should be put away with the antiques  Angry  Angry

But today's episode was at Lords - somewhat topical  Smiley

Trish

I would also enjoy knowing about the house that moved - would it be online at the BBC?

It was part of a best of programme to finish the series but is apparently being featured in the next series.

A niece-in-law bought in a box of 'stuff' from her aunt's house which is now hers.  The valuer was so excited by the story that he went to visit.

Apparently the house was going to be knocked down in order to build a round-about 20-30 years ago, I think it was actually 27 years ago, and the lady living there, May Savage, decided that she had always quite fancied life by the seaside so got the local boy scouts to take it down and number all the parts.   She then transported the whole lot on a lorry to Norfolk and spent the rest of her life rebuilding it.  They showed footage of a BBC programme from some time ago which featured her and the project and also showed you the house in its current state - it was lovely!

Have never tried watching TV online - online radio is as far as I have progressed!
