William BLUNDELL 1700's -burial missing
« on: Thursday 03 May 07 18:28 BST (UK) »

A reply saying William isn't buried in your parish would help.

Even though I'm a searcher in my spare time I can't find where William Blundell [alive in the 1760s] was buried.
He was fit and well in the 1730s and living in my house, running the family farm in Meppershall, Beds. By 1760 his brother John was writing in his diary that he was giving money to "my poor unhappy brother William". All the family are buried in Meppershall except William. I'd love to find him.
For "unhappy" I'm reading 'depressed' or mentally ill but that might be because I'm a psychologist. I can't think of any other reason why he would need support from a younger brother.
William had married Sarah HOBBS from Wymondley in the 1730's [a second marriage for her]. They had several deaths in a short time including the step daughter [from memory the parish register says Sarah Hobbs - daughter of William and Sarah Blundell]
The Blundell family were quite well off, being successful farmers and respected people. I just wish I could find my missing William.  I so want to know what happened to him and where he is buried. Living in a very old house it is as if they become my family ancestors in a way.
Any help, even if to be told he ISN'T in a parish would help.

I forgot to say that all his family had stones at their graves so he might show up on a monuments register. As I said even being told he isn't in a parish would help reduce possibilities
Thanks
