Hello,

I'd be grateful if SKS could let me have details/ image for David Simpson age 28, Merchant Service, born South Wold (should be one word), Suffolk, from the 1901 census.

The full 1901 census is a pay-per-view site which you can access yourself at     
 http://www.1901census.nationalarchives.gov.uk/
 
I have checked the incomplete 1901 index and found the following record - perhaps his father. However, if he was a seaman he may easily have been out of British waters on that night.

Thanks for sending that. I did in fact have David Senior, but my voucher ran out with just one more to do - you've guessed it, it was David Junior!
