This may be a wild goose chase, but I am trying to locate information on Jane Parry, born Jane Thomson or Thompson in about 1815.   Jane was buried in Carnarvon, Wales, in 1876.

Hi Kim

My ancestors also moved from Dumfries/Galloway to North Wales and I spent years trying to locate them.

Can you give any further information that you might have - for example from census details, marriage details etc. It would then help narrow the search.

There is a strong possiblility that she was Jean in Scotland - all my Scottish Jeans became Janes when they moved to Wales!

I have done a quick check on the IGI and find 15 Jean/Janes are showing in Dumfriesshire, b. 1810-1820.
