Can anyone find any info: on   

ANTHONY ALDER   married to  Eliza 

Last place I had was   Minchinhampton,   Gloucester,
  England

They  would have been born  early  1800's

If you haven't seen them already, there are two births for Anthony Alder on the IGI in the 1830s.

There's also a marriage of Anthony Alder to an Annie Elizabeth Harris in Brisbane 1877 on the IGI.

You can look up the 1851 Gloucester census on the web at http://www.rootsweb.com/%7Ecotswold/GLSontheweb.htm

there are several ALDERs under surnames: http://www.rootsweb.com/~cotswold/1nameAA-AS.txt but no Anthony  Sad

ALDER Ann 60 Wool Cloth Worker Weaver Minchinhampton /Mn'chmptn 51
ALDER Harriet Widow 29 Laundress Minchinhampton /Stonehouse 51
ALDER Mary Visitor 25 Cloth  Worker  Minchinhampton /Mn'chmptn 51

but the actual census for Minchinhampton only shows ANN and MARY ALDER

Bob,  I like your picture,    Thank you for doing the lookups,  and sending them on,    I am sure the names would have to be connected,    Anthony and his wife Eliza   would have been in  Minchinhampton  1820's and early 1830's    my gr. gr.  grandmother  Eugenia  was born there about 1829,  they were her parents,   I believe they may have moved on to Middlesex   later on
